The MV goes PiNK Walk and Weekend began with a group of women friends living on the island of Martha's Vineyard and the idea that we wanted to give our children the gift of participating in something that makes a difference ... both here in our little community and in the bigger world as well.

Knowing the devastating effects that cancer has on families, we chose to put our efforts toward making life a bit more comfortable for those who are living with the disease ... and toward research that may one day FIND A CURE.
